South Korean shipbuilder Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (KSOE) has secured an order for the construction of two liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers.

Denmark-based biotechnology company Novozymes has joined the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Centre for Zero Carbon Shipping as a mission ambassador.

Following last year’s announcement about an agreement to explore the combination of Keppel Offshore & Marine with Sembcorp Marine, significant progress has been made in the process. However, more time and deliberation are needed to reach the final agreement to which both companies are committed.

A consortium comprising more than 25 global companies and organisations is developing new guidance to quantify the impact of greenhouse gas (GHG) logistics emissions in an effort to increase the transparency of carbon emissions and work towards a net-zero logistics sector.
